Ingredients

4 oz. Milk (125 mL)

Espresso (2 Shots)

Pinch Salt

1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

4 oz. Brown Sugar (115 g)

4 oz. water (125 mL)

Step by step

  1. For the Brown Sugar Syrup: Measure water and brown sugar into a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook until mixture begins to thicken, 9 - 10 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Let cool.

  4. Prepare the double shot of Espresso in your favorite cup.

  5. Let espresso cool 5-10 minutes before adding milk in a drink shaker.

  6. Add 2 teaspoons Brown Sugar Syrup and shake for 30 seconds.

  7. Fill tall glass with ice and pour latte over top.

  8. Plus Up: Add a bendy straw.
