Cappuccino

KitchenAid Chef

This creamy traditional coffee offers a strong espresso flavor and a luxurious texture... the most important part is frothing the foam to velvety perfection! Uses [KitchenAid® Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine](https://www.kitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances/coffee-products/coffee-makers/p.semi-automatic-espresso-machine.kes6403bm.html?) and [KitchenAid® Burr Coffee Grinder](https://www.kitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances/coffee-products/coffee-grinders/p.burr-coffee-grinder.kcg8433bm.html?)

Ingredients

Sugar (to taste)

Cocoa Powder (or cinnamon powder - to taste)

Espresso (1 Shot)

4 oz. Milk (125 mL)

Step by step

  1. Froth the milk into a "microfoam" that is nearly double the volume of the original milk, using the steam wand or the milk frother attachment.

  2. Prepare the shot of Espresso in your favorite cappuccino cup.

  3. Pour the frothed milk into the center of the Espresso shot.

  4. Add sugar and a sprinkle of cocoa or cinnamon powder according to taste and serve.

  5. Tip: For a dairy free option, use oat milk.

  6. Plus Up: For a Vanilla Bean Cappuccino, add vanilla bean paste (or extract) and sugar to milk before frothing.
