4 cups ice cubes

1 medium lime (peeled and halved)

1/4 teaspoon finely grated lime zest

1 medium banana (peeled and halved; not over ripe)

2 medium oranges (peeled and halved)

1 cup pineapple juice

Step by step

Throw the pineapple juice, oranges, banana, lime zest, lime, cayenne pepper (if using) and ice cubes into your KitchenAid® blender in the order listed. Secure the lid, and blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds until smooth and frosty.
Salt the rim of the glasses (if desired), and serve immediately.
